Open Saved Chats to continue a conversation. Use a recognisable name for work you will revisit, and remember that a saved chat is different from saving changes to a resource or downloading a file.
Open Saved Chats in the navigation and look for the conversation you need. If you have organised chats into folders, open the relevant folder as well. A new conversation may have a title based on the work rather than the file name you expect.
Select the chat and read the recent messages to confirm it is the right conversation. If a warning appears while leaving your current work, stay and save any edits you want before switching.
Add a follow-up that explains what has changed, such as a new lesson length or learner level. Check the context selector before you send, particularly when adapting earlier work for a different class.
Open the chat’s action menu and choose the rename action. Enter a short title you will recognise, such as “Fractions starter – Year 6”, and save it. Check the updated name in the list.
Open the delete action for the specific chat and read the confirmation, including the chat name. The confirmation describes permanent deletion. Cancel if you are unsure; do not use deletion to tidy work you may want to return to.
If you edited a resource inside the chat, use its Save action and check where you can reopen it. The existence of the conversation in Saved Chats does not mean that every unsaved resource edit or exported copy has been kept.
You can return to the right conversation and understand which work needs a separate save.
Check your chat folders and that you are signed in to the same account.
Look for its topic as well as the name you remember. If it is still missing, contact support without assuming a deleted conversation can be restored.
Check whether a response is still generating or a resource has unsaved edits.
Stay if you want to finish or save that work before opening another chat.
Tell the team what you were trying to do and what happened.
