Why a feature or tool is missing
A missing area, tool or button can depend on your account, selected PLAI version or school’s available features. Start with the specific item you cannot find.

An entire area is missing
Check the school account and role you are using. Look through the current navigation before assuming the area has disappeared. Student-learning and school-administration areas are not available to every teacher account.
A particular AI tool is missing
Check the PLAI version selected in Chat, then return to AI Tools and clear any search or filters. Tool availability can differ between versions and schools; switching versions is relevant to tools, not a universal fix for every missing feature.
A button or control is missing
Check the item’s state and your permission to change it. A saved quiz, an archived assignment and a draft room offer different actions. Complete any required save step before looking for publication controls.
Check with the right person
Ask the school administrator about your account and class permissions. For product availability, contact support. Do not assume the school administrator can enable every missing feature.
Describe what you expected
Include the area or tool name, where you looked and the task you wanted to complete. A cropped screenshot can help if you remove personal or student details first.
Check your result
You have checked the relevant navigation, version, state and account conditions.
