Accept an invitation and verify your email

An invitation to join a school and a request to verify your email serve different purposes. Start with the message you received, use the email address it was sent to and check your school access when you finish.

Here’s how

  1. Check the message and recipient

Read who sent the invitation and which email address it names. If you were not expecting it, check with your school contact before opening links. Keep invitation links and verification codes private.

  2. Follow the access instructions in the invitation

Open the TopSchool link supplied in the message and follow the account setup or sign-in instructions on that page. Use the invited email address. If you already have an account, avoid creating a second one solely because you received another message.

  3. Complete an email check when requested

If TopSchool asks you to verify your email, check the address shown and open that inbox. A code-entry screen requires the code from its verification message; a link-based message asks you to open its link. Follow the method displayed for your account rather than entering a password into a code field.

  4. Check the result before requesting another message

Return to the TopSchool page and look for the verification result or the next setup step. If a code or link has expired, request a new one using the option on that page when it becomes available. Use the new message for the new attempt.

  5. Confirm your school access

After signing in, check your account and school details. Email verification alone does not tell you whether you have access to the intended school. If it is missing, ask the person who invited you to check the recipient address and school access.

Check your result

You know which access step the message is asking you to complete and how to check whether you have reached your school workspace.

If something doesn’t look right

The message has not arrived

Check the address shown in TopSchool and the junk or spam folder for that mailbox.

Use the resend option when available. If you still receive nothing, ask your school contact or support to check the address.

The link is expired or already used

Check whether you can already sign in with the invited address.

If access is still missing, ask for a fresh invitation or use the new verification option shown. Do not share the original link in a public message.
